We recently discovered a little gem of a spot in Elk River...Sweet P's Homemade Ice Cream Shop, near "The Fountain"--a quaint little spot on the Mississippi River. So, we keep on finding ourselves there every couple of weeks! One of these times being this past Saturday. The kids and I joined Troy and Lisa and their kids (Aaron was away on a business trip, so we were happy to try and stay busy!), and it was a wonderful time! It was a perfect afternoon for it...very warm and sunny...the perfect mix needed for some ice cream and a run through "The Fountain"!! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

I thought it would be fun to have the kids do jumps off of the amphitheater stones, and I attempted to take pictures. They didn't turn exactly out how I pictured they would, but it was fun, nonetheless!! :)

While 4 of Lisa's kids were at Bible Camp last week, we went to Caribou one morning. The following 2 pic's are of Jesse and Levi being goofy! :)
Two years ago, Jesse started helping to pick raspberries and then make jam, pies, etc. Since then, it has become tradition for him to help! He loves it, and I LOVE having my little boy by my side helping in the kitchen!! It's so cute! Here's our first fresh black raspberry pie of the season! (And Jacob took the picture of us!)
