Summer is just filled with so much fun! We have had the pleasure of enjoying graduation parties, a Bible Conference, a few weddings (with a few more to come!), birthday parties, cookouts, trips to the lake cabin.......
Although these are all very fun things, some of my favorite summer moments are the "regular things"...watering the flowers early in the morning, listening to the kids play out the kitchen window, helping cousins and Grandpa in the garden, swimming in the kiddie pool, kickball games with the kids, making jam, fresh strawberry pie, corn on the cob, the smell of freshly mowed grass, watching hay being baled, the smell of rain, enjoying the beautiful sunsets from the deck, a beautiful rainbow after a fresh rain--reminding us of one of God's promises..... THESE things make summer summer! So many wonderful blessings to be thankful for!
